Fete de Geneve

For a week during Jeune Genevois we have a festival with LOADS of fireworks and rides surrounding the lake. Expensive but fun.

You can walk to the top for a great view of the city and lake!

Bench

Interesting fact: This bench is where the people who had committed crimes in the medieval times waited to get killed (hangings or beheading). Its also round the corner of the longest bench in the world, wich just looks like the average park bench just extended and looking over a beautiful view of Geneva.

Fountain with flowers

Every year, around Jeune Genevois small villages (eg. Cartigny) decorate their fountains with flowers. Interesting fact: Before the water flowed straight to our homes the people would clean themselves + their clothes in these fountains.
